Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please bring a towel, water bottle, and comfortable athletic or swim attire. We recommend slip-on shoes for moving between the sauna and plunge areas.

  • Sessions are 60 minutes long and include guided sauna, cold plunge, and recovery time. Some sessions maybe longer or shorter if we are doing a special event. We do offer Open Flow sessions which are unguided and staff supported if you prefer to be in there without a guide.

  • Not at all. Many of our members are first-timers. Our team will guide you through the process and help you find an approach that works for your comfort level and experience.

  • That's completely fine. You are always encouraged to listen to your body. Many members choose to focus primarily on sauna use or modify their experience as needed.

  • Yes. All sessions require a reservation in advance. Space is limited and sessions often fill up.

  • We recommend consulting with your physician before participating in sauna or cold plunge activities during pregnancy.

  • Yes. Participants must be 18 years or older.

  • We encourage members to disconnect, be present, and respect the experience of those around them. Please keep phone use to a minimum.

  • Sessions may be cancelled up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty.

    Cancellations within 4 hours of the session or failure to attend may result in loss of session credits and applicable fees.

  • No. Memberships, packages, and credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the account holder.

    You can however, use a comp pass issued to you to bring a guest. One (1) Free Comp pass is issued per month to our Unlimited Membership holders.

  • Yes. Members may request a pause by completing the official Membership Pause Form:

    Pause requests submitted through email, text, social media, or verbal conversations cannot be processed.

  • Your membership automatically resumes on the end date selected in your pause request.

    If you need to extend or modify your pause, you must contact management and receive approval before your scheduled resume date.

  • Membership cancellations require 30 days written notice and must be submitted through the official Cancellation Form:

    Emails, texts, social media messages, phone calls, or verbal requests do not cancel a membership.

  • No. Memberships, packages, credits, and services are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Hot Box Cold Plunge Policies, Waiver & Member Agreement

By purchasing a membership, package, drop-in session, booking a reservation, or participating in any Hot Box Cold Plunge services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies.

General Liability Waiver

I understand that participation in sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy, and other wellness or recovery services involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, dizziness, fainting, burns, cold-related injuries, cardiovascular events, and other unforeseen health complications.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release and hold harmless Hot Box Cold Plunge, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates, including Seminole Heights CrossFit, from any liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from my participation.

I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may stop participation at any time.

Health Acknowledgement

By participating, I acknowledge that:

  • I am at least 18 years old.

  • I am physically capable of participating in sauna and cold plunge activities.

  • I understand Hot Box Cold Plunge does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • I have consulted with my physician regarding any medical conditions that may be affected by extreme temperatures.

  • I will immediately discontinue participation if I experience dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, or any concerning symptoms.

  • I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition and participation.

Reservation & Check-In Policy

  • Participants should arrive at least 3 minutes before their scheduled session.

  • Late arrivals may lose their reserved spot.

  • Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

  • Unused time due to late arrival will not be extended.

Session Cancellation Policy

Sessions may be cancelled up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty.

Cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled session or failure to attend may result in:

  • Loss of session credit

  • A $10 late cancellation fee for unlimited members

Membership Policies

Membership Cancellation Policy

Membership cancellations require 30 days written notice.

The cancellation form is the only valid method of cancellation.

Cancellation requests submitted through email, text message, phone call, social media, verbal conversation, or any other method do not constitute valid notice and will not cancel a membership.

Memberships remain active and subject to billing during the 30-day notice period.

Management may make exceptions at its sole discretion. Any exception made for one member does not create an obligation or precedent for future exceptions.

Membership Pause Policy

To request a membership pause, members must complete the official pause request form:

Pause requests submitted through email, text message, phone call, social media, verbal conversation, or any other method will not be processed.

Membership billing will continue until a pause request has been submitted, approved, and processed.

Members must select both a pause start date and pause end date.

Memberships automatically resume on the selected resume date unless a request to modify or extend the pause is submitted and approved before the scheduled resume date.

Memberships may be paused for a maximum of six (6) months at one time and no more than two (2) times per calendar year.

Important Notice Regarding Cancellations During a Pause

Submitting a cancellation request while a membership is paused does not satisfy the required 30-day cancellation notice period.

Members must still submit the official cancellation form.

If a member wishes to cancel after a pause, the membership will automatically resume on the scheduled resume date and remain subject to all applicable cancellation and billing policies.

Membership Billing & Payments

  • Membership dues are automatically billed on the member's designated billing date.

  • Memberships continue until properly cancelled.

  • Members are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

  • Returned payments, declined cards, chargebacks, or insufficient funds may result in a $25 administrative fee.

  • Accounts with outstanding balances may have booking privileges or membership access suspended until resolved.

Refund Policy

All memberships, packages, sessions, credits, services, and retail purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Unused sessions, credits, memberships, or promotional offers have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or credit.

Promotional Pricing

Promotional rates, introductory offers, discounts, and founding member pricing are non-transferable and have no cash value.

If a promotional membership is cancelled, the promotional rate may be forfeited and future enrollment will be subject to current pricing.

Facility Conduct Policy

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, members and guests agree to:

  • Treat staff, members, and guests with respect.

  • Follow all staff instructions and facility guidelines.

  • Shower before entering the cold plunge.

  • Wear appropriate attire.

  • Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Respect facility equipment and property.

  • Avoid actions that may contaminate sauna or plunge areas.

Hot Box Cold Plunge reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without refund for behavior that jeopardizes the safety, comfort, or experience of others.

Property Damage

Members and guests are financially responsible for any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional misconduct.

This includes costs associated with repairing, replacing, cleaning, draining, sanitizing, or restoring equipment and facilities.

Photography & Media Release

Unless otherwise requested in writing, I grant Hot Box Cold Plunge permission to use photographs and video captured during sessions for marketing, educational, promotional, and social media purposes.

If I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I understand it is my responsibility to notify staff before participation.

Communication Consent

By creating an account, booking services, or purchasing a membership, I consent to receive communications from Hot Box Cold Plunge regarding:

  • Account information

  • Membership updates

  • Schedule changes

  • Facility announcements

  • Promotions and special events

Marketing communications may be unsubscribed from at any time.

Agreement

By participating in services offered by Hot Box Cold Plunge, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to all policies, terms, waivers, and conditions outlined above.
